Hi theoretical question here If someone were to buy a PD1560new version cable, whittle down the plastic around the male C cable to fit it with an old version PD1560 would the tablet still operate?

My Gaomon PD 1560 whenever i connect it to a PC just power on displays NO SIGNAL and enters POWER SAVING MODE. i feel its the 3-in-2 cable but I want to be sure before I get a new one
