When I was a child, the school sent us to take vaccinations in a health unit, so I was late for my return home. After I returned, I found my mother at the front step of the house waiting for me, crying out of anxiety. She already knew why I was late, yet she kept waiting for me anxiously. The funny thing is that while she hugged me while she crying, I was crying because my friends got green papers to conduct further tests, while I didn’t get anything because I was healthy. I thought those green leaves were cool 😂
It was a memory that I could never forget, my mother’s warm embrace, her tears of concern for me, and my foolishness that made me want those green leaves. Well, I have become an adult now, I think, and I still cannot be late for the house because of those conversations.💜
